Rihanna, better known for her involvement in the music industry, has recently acquired a taste for football.
The singer outed herself as a fan of the game at this summer’s Brazil World Cup by providing blow-by-blow coverage of the entire tournament, before celebrating the final victory with the Germany team.

Following the final, “RiRi’ tweeted that it was “the most epic experience of my entire life”, and could be set to return to the footballing world in a more permanent role.
She is looking into the possibility of opening a football academy in her home nation, Barbados, but according to Spanish newpaper, Mundo Deportivo, she may take her new hobby a step further.
According to the newspaper, Rihanna is interested in purchasing a Premier League club and her good friend, Didier Drogba, has advised her that Liverpool is just the club for her – according to a close friend of the singer, who chose to remain anonymous.
The tipster allegedly said, “at first we thought Rihanna’s desire to be involved with soccer on a business level would soon blow over, we figured she was still on a high from the World Cup.
“But now it’s becoming clear she really is serious.
“Shes talking about setting up a football academy in her native Barbados, then her big dream is to be involved with a UK club.”
Despite Drogba’s recommendation, its hard to imagine the Fenway Sports Group selling up any time soon, with the club featuring in the Champions League for the first time in over five years, after finishing second place in the Premier League last season.
Even if Rihanna does take over, just be glad it isn’t Bieber, Liverpool fans.
Liverpool begin their Premier League campaign against Southampton on Sunday, and will have to cope with the lose of their star striker Luis Suarez, who moved to Barcelona in a £75 million deal this summer, if they want to challenge for the title again this time round.
