Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini was on the receiving end of a Marco Andreolli clearance in his side’s 3-1 victory over Genoa on Sunday.
With Milan 2-0 up mid-way through the second-half, the Italian centre-back halted a Genoa counter-attack by attempting to blast the ball out of play, only to see the ball fly towards his manager’s head and subsequently knock him off of his feet.
Luckily, the man who was once brave enough to square up to Mario Balotelli during his time at Manchester City, laughed off the incident.
Mancini’s side went on to win the game 3-1, with goals from Rodrigo Palacio, Mauro Icardi and Nemanja Vidic securing all three points for the Italian giants. The win leaves Inter in 9th place in the Serie A table, just one point away from their city rivals, AC Milan, after a lacklustre start to the season.
